Calling on Ethiopia to Unblock Critical Blogs!

Global media watchdogs called on the Ethiopian government to unblock websites that have been inaccessible because they were critical to the government of Ethiopia. The call has been issued after the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) said that the Ethiopian authorities were blocking several blogs, or Internet journals, containing content that was critical of the Ethiopian government. French organisation Reporter sans Frontières (RSF) warned that blocking free expression would only increase political tension in Ethiopia.
